That would be TV Tropes ...

@NoxoN: So it's like the 911 "Henry Ford" edition.

@philaDLJ: Fail. They forgot to black out the needles on the instruments. That red is far too loud.

Probably the same 1971 911 he drove in Le Mans (and later bought). Can't turn down a classic ...

@zekestone: Yeah, if he'd just rented a compact and spent the $6 to buy two gallons of gas he could have gotten 60-70 miles of range in far less time ...

It's a feature, not a bug: I like to think of a NASCAR race as 8-10 sprint races, just run back to back. They use that fancy yellow flag to announce the end of one sprint race and the transition to the next race. The goal is to win as many of the sprint races as possible.

Two words: Gun Turrets.

It rubs the lotion on its skin ...

@manticore116: That's him — the Brian Boitano of rally racing.

@nutbastard: They'd sell more if they named them Chevy Transformer.

@TroyQueef: Not enough USAF transports, so a lot of the MRAP airlift to Afghanistan has been by commercial airliner. It's pretty strange to see a new US Army MRAP come rolling off a Russian An-224 at Bagram.

The X Games has lost their street cred as the source of extreme fight-the-system types if they don't take Bill Caswell. They've become the poseurs they claim to hate.

Oh, yeah — it's a Grand-Am support race, if you're trying to find it.

@skulldriveshaft picasaweb and youtube: TV coverage on Speed is a week delayed, so this weekend's race will show next weekend. It's what used to be the Koni Challenge series. I went to the race today in person — great race!

@freds4hb: Try the Continental Tire Sports Car series ... racing this weekend at Mid Ohio.

@Vorgto: @2AM. WH is best at 2AM. I thought they make the "Harold and Kumar" movie about White Castle because they didn't have Waffle House in New Jersey.

@Bumblebee: I know ... I thought I'd lost WH when I moved up from down south.
