At this point, regardless of how anyone feels about Allen, it is the safest thing possible to say you regret working with him/don’t want to work with him now. There’s absolutely nothing brave about it. It’s like saying you don’t want to work with Bill Cosby.

I like the idea of releasing happier edits of old, downer documentaries. Simu Liu’s public comments have made it sound like there’s a lot more to the story than just the creators deciding they wanted to try something new. 

They just did a season set in jail with just the main cast (and one of the guys from FUBAR). The main three, and Corey and Jacob. Netflix wasn’t interested so they put it on their own webchannel. They’re apparently already planning another one set in jail - only one set to film on.

Eddie disappearing from much of the middle of the movie was inexplicable. They assumed we’d care about his bastard offspring son far more than we actually did. And Wesley was pretty much wasted.
