You're definitely not missing anything by skipping the 3DS version. Even on the XL, it's sometimes easy to lose track of your character when the screen widens or when everyone crowds one spot. And I'd only use the 3DS as a wiiu controller if I were some kind of masochist :p

I saw this on the shelf and had hoped it would be a good step forward for videogame based movies. Instead it's a good example of how something gets lost between the source material and making it a movie.
