Chalk $300k up to an error?  Are you kidding?  Do you know how accounting and banks work?  Literally every cent has to be accounted for, they can’t just write off $300k.  

There is NO WAY a realtor is telling anyone to do a renovation in order to sell - unless you’re talking to a realtor about things you wanna do to the house and asking how it might affect eventual resale.

Former landlord here: We never outed ourselves as the owners, even though it wouldn’t have been hard to find. We simply told renters we were the property managers, which was true - we just happened to also owned the properties.

Your story is similar to mine. I was adopted at birth but met my birth parents when I turned 18. They are both morbidly obese, as was I. I too thought you can’t fight genetics but I wound up losing 170 pounds in the last 2 years and I went from 360 to 190, where I’ve been steadily for 6 months.

Some states are starting to understand. I’m moving from OK to CO in a month and as part of that I had to get a job that would let me work remotely or be based in CO.
