Good points. I’m also forgetting that Tesla sells regulatory credits, almost $500m in Q2 ‘20 alone. They also sell tech - self driving upgrades for existing cars etc.

Mercedes, love your articles but this is a bit lacking. I am NOT a Tesla stock defender, I own none of their stock despite having well over 6 figures invested in stocks right now. I’ve had the chance, didn’t do it due to the numbers I saw and I do regret it at times.

Listen, I’m not defending Tesla or their investors or Musk but Tesla is more than a car company. They’re a tech company first and foremost and they have other parlays including solar, home batteries, car charging and more. Not all of the value of their brand is derived solely from car sales.

It’s fine.  Her incompetence will shine through soon enough and she’ll fail at her job and you have a success story to tell to potential future employers!
