I allow myself to eat out once a week - I used it on McD to try the spicy nuggs and the new sauce but my store was out of the new sauce! It’ll be a few weeks before McD cycles back into my weekly eat out so I hope it’s in stock then.

I mean, they sell them 10 for $1 most of the time lol, so pretty low.
I don’t think floorspace is the issue - I’m in the midwest, tons of sprawl and they can build stores as big as they want. The newest Lowe’s by my house is bigger than any other I’ve been in.
I don’t hate this, it’s kind of genius. And, depending on how close my spouse and I were to this couple, this kind of thing MIGHT get me to buy a nicer gift. Why? At least I’d get something out of it if I splurged and went up to $251 on the gift.
Genuine question - how many people pay for their own wedding? We did, but it was my partners second one and their dad paid for the (very small) first one. My parents also paid quite a bit of certain aspects of my wedding.
Do it! Just remember that you’ll be putting in 15-20 mins of work to get that email and pre-paid visa in order to save $2, which is really close to working for less than minimum wage but have at it!
There’s just so much ambiguity. Lots of people will say jerky is healthy but I can walk to my store and find a package that has as much sugar as the candy bars under it. Sure, the jerky will have some protein to make it a bit better and I’d always suggest someone snack on jerky over chips or a candy bar. But candy…
I actually do want to visit there! My MIL is from there (Ogden) and my partner and I LOVE outdoors stuff, so Utah would be great for that.
Yeah, I’m in a metro over 1m so that’s likely the difference. The crappy part, for me, is that they won’t even let me go to the warehouse to pick it up myself - I HAVE to opt for delivery if I want it. They won’t sell floor models either, outside of the damaged clearance stuff that’s specific to each store.
I’m of the ilk of data being like toothpaste - once it’s out of the tube it’s out. And that it’s like an STD - once someone has it, everyone can get it, and pretty easily too. I’ve worked in big data and I’m CISA, CISM and CISSP certified (IT security certifications) - if you’ve got FB, Twitter, IG or have signed up…
I can’t think of a time in the last 10 years anything (appliance) I’ve bought has been in stock at Lowe’s or HD and I left with it that day.
Hot take - bagels are better when they’re savory and not sweet.
The real driver is cost. It costs a lot to eat healthy but unhealthy stuff is subsidized to within cents of how much it cost to make.
There’s the rub. OJ has as much and sometimes more sugar than the coke it’s going to replace. Same with protein bars and candy bars. Healthy chips don’t exist. Sure, these options are marginally healthier but they’re not the problem here.
This is stupid and it’s clear Kate Harrison doesn’t know anything about nutrition. That OJ has as much or more sugar than the coke it’s replacing. ‘Healthy’ chips don’t exist. Protein bars can have as much as or more sugar than the candy bars they’re replacing!
Guaranteed your data is floating out around there anyways, take advantage of it and make a little money off what’s already out there.
Allison - you’re missing part of the way they can make this so cheap - government subsidies for farmers. It drives down food and meat prices like crazy.
It takes more than a phone. You’ll also need at least a free email address that isn’t yours and you’ll still be giving up location data and purchase data as well as possibly payment data if you want to use the app.
They are paying you for it - what do you think the coupons are?
I’ve got 2, would love a deep freezer on top of what I’ve already got.
