But this car has insane miles, a transmission nobody wants, the wrong color, a completely unknown service history which means it needs a major service and it's a 2000 which means it's probably on the book for an expensive cam variator upgrade. The differences are massive. Btw my carmax offer was $64k.

I disagree. Most Corvettes are more daily-driveable than a lot of performance cars, the C7 especially so.

I don't disagree that this is a spectacular car, and I also prefer my BMWs to be as simple and as light and as naturally-aspirated as possible... But at the same time, I hate the "this is the last great [whatever] ever built, because modern things are new and scary and different and not as good" bullshit.
