I struggle to fathom this as well. I spent 50 hours just in the first Act. Took me almost 200 hrs on my first playthrough.

They’d have to be crazy to put it on gamepass. It is still selling insanely well. They wouldn’t get anywhere near enough from Microsoft for it to be on gamepass vs what they’d make it sales.. would be a huge financial mistake for Larian. Do it in a year or so perhaps when the sales numbers drops.

Worth watching a “game movie” playthrough on youtube (where most of the gameplay is cut out, just story / dialogue).
