I'm tired of all the comparisons to Breaking Bad. It has a completely different premise. Other than sharing a timeslot, there's nothing to link the two shows together, except that everyone loves to hero-worship Vince Gilligan and shit on Dexter.

I'm still defending the show. That must make me a fangirl. I'm okay with that.
Now *that* would have been a really crazy twist. Dex and Quinn running off to get married would make for a hell of an unexpected series finale.
good catch…finally someone mentioning something that isn't angry analysis of fridge logic
It did seem like his "moment of truth" realization could have manifested *after* killing the guy who was clearly a threat. or perhaps *before* turning him into a threat by leaking the videos and abducting him, given that he offered Dex what seemed like a genuine opportunity for a truce.
This episode, as with the season as a whole, was full of flaws as many have pointed out.
lmao the episode title was kind of asking for it ;)
"I just don't want you to have any unrealistic expectations." ….. sounds like the writers hope we don't put too much faith in the finale since we're likely to be disappointed by it.
