Stattoo ([www.panic.com]) is probably the closest to RainMeter that I know about.. does a good job, and looks good.. Easy to use.

@gpzbc: Nope.. It was a very lean minimal browser back then. Same reason I use chrome. I don't want features/options, etc..

Does anyone remember when Opera boasted about fitting on a 1.44MB floppy disk? That is when I used Opera... I also stopped using Opera around the time that it could no longer fit on said floppy. :)
