Except for the gay marriage it's totally like 1965. Never played GAA in my life, I do enjoy my ales and I am technically a minority.

Yeah, that's grand. Mostly pistols are used for humane dispatch but they are much tighter on pistols than other firearms because they are of much greater value in gangland crimes.
Well you can actually get a pistol but you need to have had rifle for a while, monitered alarm, safe, membership ,licence fees and import papers and the like and permission from the local super. So if you are a young guy getting in trouble or someone with a record of arrests or charges you would never have a chance.
Nah of course we do. We just aren't fucking idiots about them.
Not everyone lives in a country which is takes no regard whatsoever for the environment around them.
"a social media team leader"
I know a women who bought one because it saves her around $12,000 every single year.
Fair point but it's still impolite. Not something we love to have associate with Ireland when you are ordering a drink, terrorism.
Well I don't like the Irish being characterized as more conservative than we are. I don't feel particular shame about Irish laws.
The F-117 was a first generation stealth aircraft. The RAM skin was uniquely delicate and required intense maintenance and climate controlled hangers. Compared to a F-16 or F-18 it was a unique and temperamental aircraft which was difficult to deploy and maintain.
Homophobia is the fear of gays. I don't really understand why she doesn't want gay marriage but I genuinely don't think she does it from a fear of gays. I don't think her opposition to gay marriage makes her a homophobe or at least in the common understanding of the word.
I don't have the time or the patience to explain fully so excuse me if I am short and curt here.
Seriously for fucks sake, I wish people like you would do a little more research.
Irish-American
That is absolute bullshit. Though it depends on what you vague qualifier means. On a societal level we are basically the same as the US. More liberal in some areas and more conservative in others.
A shag off, that certainly isn't indicative of societal mores.
Except Rory O'Neill was wrong. I hate John Waters with an abiding passion and I Breda O'Brien is a reactionary idiot. But I don't think it's fair to tar her as a homophobe with all the confrontations that has when she has written many columns decrying homophobia in society.
The Polish aren't really into St Patricks day. There aren't any other Catholics in Dublin who take church teaching seriously.
My grandad did for Guinness
Fuck Irish-Americans and also it looks like shit. It isn't so much Irish people get actually offended but it's a stupid name for a drink. I don't ask for 9/11 or burning towers of some shit.
