Travis reacted in the best way possible from a survival point of view. A little less screaming would be good but he stopped that fairly quickly. Fair play Travis.
Why? Why would you basically attack the person who is clearly crazy and driving? How is that going to make it better? People don't react well to being kicked in the head or put in a headlock when the adrenaline is pumping.
Quick spec out with what you would expect in a premium car and certainly not everything, plus chargers for home and it 87,255 GBP which is nearly $146,000. The specced out i3 is 38,00 GBP which is just over 40%. So between 1/3rd and 1/2 but the cars aren't really supposed to be compared. Interior is nice on the i3…
Unless you get the 85Kwh model it's pretty crap. Plus you need the performance model model because it's supposed to be sporty.
136 k+ roughly.
UK.
Well it isn't a luxury car that's the thing. The interior on the new Genesis looks much nicer than the model S. It's a premium car and it's a great car, I dunno why people are getting their panties in a bunch.
The Model S is $120,000+ here if you want the 85Kwh which gives you a 200 mile range. The i3 is just over 1/3rd the cost and is a practical family car. The i3 is in no way comparable but it's a luxury family car for 4 people.
I'm more talking about the tech, the i3 is a breakthrough for the carbon tech. The Tesla s is something that most companies could do if they really wanted too. Do you not wonder why the cheaper tesla has been put off again and again. There are engineering challenges to building an affordable and useful electric car.…
Except the Tesla isn't a top quality luxury car. It can't be because the powertrain and battery tech costs around 35 grand. The roof liner only comes in one colour, there are some bad plastics, the switchgear clashes with the rest of the aaesthetic, the infotaiment system is poor, the control ergonmics are poor, the…
Ummm...Okay.
the i3 is 1/3 rd the price of the tesla.
They fly gatwick.
Unlimited range for 1/3rd the price. Tesla is only good for 200 miles.
Well yeah but that down to the reviewers being daft same as some of the Tesla reviewers not charging the thing.
No but the Model S incredibly expensive if you want the performance model and you need the performance model if you want a reasonable range. It costs a minimum of $126,000 dollars over here. The interior isn't up to scratch for a luxury car, which is fine because you are buying it for other things.
No way the fit and finish is up the standard of luxury car in a Tesla. It has a shitty infotainment system too and poor design with no physical controls for essential functions.
Tesla is going to struggle to compete with the major car manufacturers so making money from their technical chops is going to be important. The model S is incredibly expensive for a decent one and the quality is only so so.
Upset? I'm not upset. I pitched it at towards the end of 2011. Also get cheap flights. Can't complain...
