there's an aerial shot in Collateral - such a typical thing to put in an LA movie, but it catches this spotlight glare from the ground (next to a skyscraper, i think) in a really weird way.

sleater-kinney record is nearly ironclad :D except for the title track (shut up, carrie! god!) + last track, which is a bizarre mismash of like post-metal tapping/fuzz walls and sleater-kinney. i don't know about that song.
this movie is so great. love how the gore starts minimal but by the end it's like "jesus, enough already"
