Yeah, the performance in question wasn't great, but no one ever sounds good on SNL. She was clearly nervous, but she sang well enough. There's definitely something else going on because this was my first listen to Del Ray and she seems pretty innocuous.

He liked Red State so much that he lost control of his bladder and pissed right through his pants!

I've got quite the backlog and little cash so I most likely will not be reading this; just wanted to say that this review is really well-written!

Based on the blurb, I was really excited to listen to that Nine Covens track, but when it started up…man, am I tired of blast beats.

Fincher's version does excise the Australia field trip, wrapping up the Harriet plotline in a much neater way. That was a nice surprise.

I like it a lot, but I also find the platforming rewarding. I guess that'd be the breaking point for most people.

You mentioned real change and it hit me: where's The Witcher 2? I recall it got a good review here.

Wait…you didn't like No One Lives Forever 2?!

I pore over every page - the art is just beautiful. It might be too much for some people but I think it elevates the book, honestly. How he's writing and drawing this on-schedule is beyond me.

I think Kate had already kicked Bette out before sleeping with the detective (whose name escapes me); they had a row because Kate's a control freak and an inveterate loner, so they've been apart for a bit by the time Bette is attacked.

Rucka said at the end of issue thirty-two that there would be a second series. Someday.

How is firing the professor protecting the buzz? I went there, too, and this seems like vintage NYU bullshit. It's not cheap, but it is awful.

Catwoman is hardly a bodybuilder. She's lithe, quick, and clever. Sort of like, I dunno…a dog?

The latest issue was over before I knew it, but the art is consistently fantastic and I think there's enough to the story at the moment.

Are the novels any good? I haven't read any, so I was a bit confused after a certain big event that's in the books but not the comic. Hardly a dealbreaker, though.

Been keeping up with Batwoman, Batman and Robin, and Action Comics. Recently finished Queen and Country and I really hope Rucka gets going on the second volume soon.

Wayne's wealth is what allows Batman to even exist, though; these days it's what funds a worldwide network of Bat-affiliates. What is there to address?

Up close, that cover is a thing of beauty.

The new My Brightest Diamond hasn't really grabbed me yet. I love her first two albums, and Penelope; haven't gotten there with the new one. Lynch's "Pinky's Dream" creeps me out.

Demos would be cool. But maybe I meant remastered. Did they brickwall the mixes or anything? I've got the Dream vinyl (it's orange, naturally) and it sounds incredible when cranked; probably won't double dip.
