That igloo may outlast his Presidential campaign.

GOOD.

You using UPS Teamsters for your header image is a bit ironic, considering they just rammed through - illegally, I might add - one of the worst contracts we've ever had. I've been at the company five years, and new hires are being paid more than me right now.

YES! Using a VPN connected to a company whose ENTIRE BUSINESS MODEL is monetizing your data is INSANE.

You started losing me at thongs, then totally lost me with not resting your steaks.

No exam required. The apathetic and ignorant should not be further troubled.

And some kids aren’t easy no matter what you do. I’m glad you’re on your high horse and were lucky enough to have good kids but not all are like yours.

Woah there, correlation !== causation. Might just be that the children who were more aggressive at 5 needed more spanking at 3 due to a predisposition towards undesirable behavior that was innate to the child. There’s a big difference between spanking causing aggression and a child that is spanked also being more

If you read what I wrote, you would know that isn’t the part I’m having trouble with. Of course it’s not actually about IDs, but if one side is pretending it’s about IDs the natural solution is to get rid of the problems with IDs. Now you have undermined their position, given them what they said they wanted. Back them

You completely missed the point of my entire post.

107,000 voters in GA were removed bc -under GA law - not giving a damn to vote in the past 2 POTUS elections is worthy of being removed.

Okay, so I never understood the voter ID controversy. It seems logical on all levels to require government-issued identification to cast a vote. While I’m aware certain political groups exaggerate the amount of fraud to push their agenda, I don’t see how arguing for no identification makes any sense. I get that the

Yeah, that seems like pointless point to make. Surelly any form of government-issued ID is a thousand times more valid than something issued by a university. Not only because people ineligible to vote can get one, but because there are so many universities it would be hard for polling locations to know what was real,

No, that all makes sense, but...why the US in particular? I’ve never read about similar stories in the UK, or Canada, or Australia, or France, or New Zealand, or Germany, or...

I hadn’t actually seen the “vote by posting a hashtag” thing before. Personally, I think if anyone fell for that, they shouldn’t be voting in the first place. It shows a vast ignorance about how our voting process works.

I will add that if you’re in TX and voting “straight party” on an electronic machine, go slowly.

I wouldn’t accept a Texas CWP for registering because there is no attempt to prove that you actually live at the address on it. But it certainly does prove identity, since it requires finger prints and two forms of ID to get.

I handle/inherited the ID system for a small college. Yes we could tie everything back from the ID to prove this info but you are correct in your statement. Even online students out of state and country are entitled to one of our IDs which we mail to them. Not mention the day to day making of them is up to student

Also, fill out a paper scantron ballot if you’re concerned about a voting machine changing or not properly recording your vote.

More seriously, I understand that when people talk about being sold down the river they are undoubtedly still being treated better than a misbehaving slave.

At the same time, when people get very hungry before dinner they aren’t “starving” and when someone had to wait a long time for something it wasn’t literally
