This has always bothered me. I would love to see someone watch 100 car commercials (probably equivalent to like 1.5 full NFL games - half joking) and count how many mention an award. I’d bet it is at lest 75%. They’ve become so diluted and meaningless.

I always sorta felt like white guys that buy the jerseys of white players are sorta racist. 1 out of top 15 NBA jerseys are black dudes but 6 out of top 10 NFL jerseys are white dudes. And it’s not all QBs, either.
