“Who’s ‘we,’ white man?”

We do. As citizens. We vote these Republican shit-lords out of government until they come back to the table with better values.

Whoa whoa whoa. “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” by Eve and Gwen Stefani wasn’t a number one song on TRL? I feel like the number of times I heard that song...

This is cute. You watched Schoolhouse Rock when you were little.

The scariest thing is: if they are willing to blatantly lie about something as minute as crowd sizes, imagine what they will do with something of much larger magnitude.

What, given the police propensity to kill unarmed minorities, they didn’t put a bullet in Welch’s crazed brain?

Why does she look like her face is (1) botoxed; (2) she’s having a stroke; and (3) she’s a fucking moron, all simultaneously?

Super useful if looking at legal documents, and also documents on “legal” formatting which are sometimes on longer paper lengthwise.

*Wanted a more soup to nuts discussion*

Goddamn, is this comment underrated.

New phone, Nick Denton, that you?

Well, that’s not necessarily true. Statute of Limitations is, inter alia, important for other things--DNA is not necessarily dispositive of rape, and it diminishes the capacity for sufficient defense (e.g., memories aren’t as accurate, etc).

Isn’t this the same girl who allegedly was previously arrested for shoplifting and/or prostitution in her past? Yeah...grain of salt, this one.

I’m not so sure about this. We had this debate in our Law and Race class in law school. Open dialogue is what is needed, not a situation where dialogue is shut off.

“Yup, I remember that.”

Not necessarily a number of athletes that couldn't be handled. The programs do test at national and international meets (so lots of people who make prelims/semifinals/finals/medalists), but it is especially stringent for anyone on the National “A” or “B” teams. Which generally encompasses most of the people who make

Well, USA Swimming sets a pretty high standard in doping control. Not only keeping samples on file for many many years, but national team and up, you have to keep records on file of where you will be on any given day. Deviations, you have to let agency know—even a miss of testing can count as a fail.

Begone, Trolly McTrollerson. I wouldn’t deny that many sports have doping problems (i.e USTF, international swimmers, etc.).

Nah. Generally not. USA Swimming anti-doping is very strict and stringent. Not only do they keep many samples on file, they test very often—you’re basically fucked if you miss one test. And the testers need to know where you are at any given time during the year for a surprise pee-test. That’s why the USA is pretty

Best athlete in the world, bar none.
