Only hate-watching Scandal one last time in vain hopes that it ends with every last man-jack of them sharing the same prison cell with Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer.
Both “Night Court” and “Barney Miller” themes were written or co-written by Jack Elliott, so no surprise there (and IIRC Night Court was created or produced by Reinhold Weege, who had written/produced for Barney Miller as well...)
Tyler Perry’s “Boo! A Madea Halloween”?
Pro-anthropogenic global warming .
My wife has always watched the Middle, so it’s been on in the background here for a longtime, but it’s only in the last few seasons where I’ve really been enjoying the way that the show is constructed. Speaking as someone who grew up carefully rewinding my Dad’s VHS tapes to the exact same spot he found them in, I want globalization to be in the image of Sweden in the late 70s.
Seriously, though, Padma is somber as hell: “You’ll be exposed to the elements. Be prepared for anything.” — meanwhile just out of frame, a production assistant is unspooling a long extension cord into one of the tents for the remaining bears’ CPAP machines...
