Like happened to me with Gravity's Rainbow, IJ took me two tries before I could get through it. For me (pasty middle-aged white dude, so of course) it was worth every second and footnote.

Speaking as an aging creep, that hair/outfit completely undid everything that what little she wore on the staircase in the last episode did for me. Heck — even if you factor the creep part out. A bad decision all around. F minus.

Not a parrothead at all (barf), but I know it because the band in the original Miami production were friends (& 1 former roommate). I never actually saw it, though.
