also because the boxes are a relatively small part of Neilsen's collection process, and always have been. Every time that I've participated (even relatively recently) they've mailed a paper viewing diary that they have people fill in by hand.
I'm sure that I'd be speculating, but I'd say that's a good possibility. Probably from Manhattan; it's unlikely that they'd be broadcasting from anyplace like Painted Post or Skaneateles.
