I can’t count how many times I’ve been uncomfortable with the person sitting next to me on a plane. Everyone is packed like sardines- it’s gonna happen.

I always thought the best stranger to sit next to on a plane was one that fell asleep and didn’t’ actively bother you. Trying to imagine calling the cops on my row mate for sleeping and not bothering me.

In case this POS passenger is American I think I know who he voted for *insert side-eye emoji here*.

I’m into natural beauty, and I sent a box to a friend when she was going through chemo and she really liked the stuff. A lot of it was the Desert Essence frangrance free line. They are cheap (5-10$) on Vitacost and feel great on the skin and scalp. I also love Ellovi butter when I get allergic flare-ups, and I think

I’m so sorry. My dad went through that, too, and the number of products he acquired was a little overwhelming. A bunch of the stuff he had: Aveeno Skin Relief lotion, Systane Balance eye drops, CVS brand theraputic dandruff shampoo (I’m not sure if he used this before or during hair loss?), hydrocortisone cream, OTC

If you’re in a state that has legal medical cannabis, I strongly recommend making cannabis oil from BHO wax (doesn’t matter what kind), liquid coconut oil and lecithin. Or just buying some premade. It can’t be hemp oil—it has to be the real thing for it to work. Your dad won’t get high off it and it is incredibly

Eucerin, definitely. There’s an anti-redness version (it’s labeled differently in the US than it is where I live, but it should say soothing or anti-redness on it). I’ve had too much experience with loved ones with cancer and this has been a go-to. Also, it’s cheap and non-girly, if that’s important to your dad. Good

Most welcome, hubby suffered at lot with gums and teeth during chemo, he was prescribed special mouthwash to stop his gums receding because the chemo attacked them so your dad may want to check with his doctor.

My dad really likes natural/hand made soaps, lotions, body butters etc (I even got him into natural deodorants.) They seem to be universally essential-oil scented, but almost for sure an artisan would do up an un-scented version if you asked. Natural product-makers are chill like that. Good vibes to you and your dad;

Lol. YEP! Same here. (Although, some nights I’m up to about 15 steps. Whoops.)

You’re welcome! I hope it works for him. (And yep, I’m a girl! haha. I’m obsessed with skincare to the point of being a walking stereotype.)

Maybe Cutemol for your dad’s skin? I buy it for my psoriasis, from Amazon, and it works really nicely. There are versions in a tub, but I buy it in a tube. A little goes a long way and the smell is very plain or a tiny bit medical.

Hubby used neutrogena moisturiser when he had chemo and found it didn’t irritate his skin but the itchiness can be really annoying. Good luck to him.

I know nothing about chemo, but other posters are suggesting fragrance-free gentle products, and that I can do. Mr. Werner has extreme psoriasis and fragrance sensitivity, and he uses MetaDerm Psoriasis Cream by Haus. It has almost no scent and is very gentle on severly damaged skin.

Coconut oil is my go-to for dry, itchy skin. It isn’t super girly smelling, and it is pretty affordable as far as heavy-duty moisturizers go. Good thoughts to you and your family.

Has your dad ever tried applying some sort of body oil (doesn’t have to be fancy, baby oil works fine! So would coconut oil) right as he’s getting out of the shower? I don’t have any experience with chemo, but for dry and itchy skin, one of the best things you can do for yourself is to get in the habit of applying

Thicker creams can be helpful because they can hydrate the skin better. Ideally one without fragrance. Josie Maran has a nice body butter. Eucerin also has a really nice one that is cheaper. Make sure he or your mom are checking his nails frequently. Chemo leaves people wide open to nail fungus. And document skin,

Maybe some unscented products? He may be extra sensitive to smells during chemo, and the fragrances in many products may aggravate itchy skin.

Maybe the next letter from your alma mater begging you to donate so the football team can have colored lights in their showers or whatever shit.

After 10 years, I finished paying off my student loans today! *High fives all around*
