Hmm, assuming those numbers are right, that seems... curious. You would think it would at least be a semi-popular interview, even if people are just hate-reading it.

Call me suspicious, but it makes me wonder if Musk’s statement thatIf you look at how many times hate content was viewed on our platform, it is down

I’ve been rewatching all the Star Trek shows in chronological order, i.e. starting with Enterprise and going on from there.  I’m up to TNG, and Season 1 was ROUGH!!!!  It was way worse than I remembered.  Season 2 was better, but it had some clunky moments.  It really improved in Season 3, which is when I’m assuming

Wasn’t Roddenberry the creative force behind Star Trek 1? And then they kick him to the curb, give the reins to people like Nicholas Meyer, Harve Bennett, and Leonard Nimoy and suddenly the movies are awesome. (Give or take a William Shatner fever dream.)

Huge respect to Roddenberry for kicking off Star Trek. But TNG didn’t get really good until they kicked Roddenberry to the curb, so I don’t see his “vision” as necessarily being all that great. And, by all accounts, he didn’t like Wrath of Khan, so his tastes are questionable.

I love Star Trek but it feels like every time I read about one of Roddenberry’s rules or complaints about TNG they’re dumb as hell.

“Don ‘Veruca Salt’ [lemon emoji]”

In this interview, Elon claims over and over again his platform only takes down posts that break the law, yet the site has been blocking accounts simply for tweeting the real name of a Nazi cartoonist. I’m sure his argument would be that he’s stopping doxxing, but doxxing in itself isn’t illegal, and once the person’s

That’s how we know it was a Musk lie. If you give someone a free Cybertruck, the next search on their phone will be “how to resell a Cybertruck, or better yet, set it on fire for Insta likes”

Yup. Hiring a reporter to interview you and then throwing a toddler-like tantrum when they ask a few tough but obvious questions is the most Elon Musk move imaginable.

Don Lemon is not Walter Cronkite or even a particularly good person, but it sure sounds like he committed the cardinal sin of actually doing the job of a journalist and that kind of thing would NEVER be welcome in Elon’s world.

Musk: I support free speech

I bet Elon thought that was super believable detail. Who wouldn’t want a Cybertruck? All the people he talks to on Xitter love it!

“A New York Post article claimed that it was because Lemon made too many demands, “including a free Tesla Cybertruck, a $5 million upfront payment on top of an $8 million salary, an equity stake in the multibillion-dollar company, and the right to approve any changes in X policy as it relates to news content.””

Yeah, I get it people suffer from mental issues but now people just use it as a cover for shitty behavior. It’s like people claiming they need a “emotional support animal” and they just do it so they don’t have to pay a pet deposit or pet rent.

She’s obviously mentally ill.

And he tried to be nice about it! He was like “Hey I got a sister who’s trans, I’ll tell you a little about my experiences, just play cool about it” and she just refused to take the lifeline.

Disney shortly afterwards:

Dammit I knew something looked wrong when I wrote that. Amy SEDARIS.

Um...the lead ‘teen on weird rainbow scooter’ is Sophie Thatcher so that seems doubtful.
