The dude who play Flash and the girl who play Supergirl look like they gon’ fuck

Nah. Someone with that power shows up out of nowhere, you wanna kill him. Perfectly human response unless you’re totally naive about how you’d really act in such a situation.

Well if you wanted to make Superman a hero from another time who ends up in modern-day society, that’s a solid story for him too. But now Cap has done it.

YES! Thank you.

nah. Everyone would still be terrified. It’s just two demi-gods fighting from our vantage point on the ground.

It’s not crazy when the guy could kill every human on the planet in about 2 hours. The threat is so unprecedented that you can’t make comparisons to anything else and say he’s overblown.

That 75-year-history, particularly for Superman, is stale as all hell. Sorry. He was created for a very different world and its hard to make him compelling in this one.

Love them all, but thanks for the recs!

Great points, all. All I meant by the “realistic” thing is that Snyder has said that’s the conceit they’re trying to adhere to as they build this cinematic universe. And Batman having beef with Superman initially seems like a premise in line with both their characters.

Sigh. You would want to kill Superman if he arrived here in our world and laid wasted to a city, even though he claimed to be defending us. You wouldn’t be like, “ah, that guy says he’s a hero. I’ll trust the flying guy who we can’t hurt.” I wanna see a Superman story where the whole planet collectively loses their

Dude. Super. Powered. Alien. The whole world should be blasting him out of the sky, if you want to be “realistic” about the response.

Jeeeeezus christ. It’s a super-powered alien appearing on earth FOR THE FIRST TIME! Of course people are going to want to kill him. Why is this nuanced approach so difficult for fanboys to grasp?

You and everyone else is missing the point regarding Batman wanting to kill Superman.
