While 10, 9, 5, and 1 are legitimate gripes, the remainder are indeed mostly silly. I’d like to know what you think is so clearly “wrongheaded” and/or misunderstood.

So... I can’t fault the movie entirely for my poor experience. Without going into a long-winded story, the night involved going from one theater to another 30 minutes away, and settling down in a hot room with loud, chatty people behind us. I was so annoyed that I couldn’t focus on the movie.

Yeah, I meant “too bad” as in its not on the iOS version of Google Maps, yet.

Great write up, again. No point in rehashing last weeks criticism of the io9 author’s perspective, but I’m ok with reading through a cynical and surface level review to get to what I think is solid discussion.

I just bought an iPhone over the weekend, and immediately DLed this app upon reading about it. I’m really not sure how useful/time saving it will be, but I sure as hell like the idea behind it.

What I’d really like is to be able to receive and reply to texts on my iPad by way of my Android phone. The only solution I have found is using Mighty Text via my iPad browser, but I do not get text notifications that way.

For reasons I do not understand, neither SwiftKey nor Swype allow text expansion. There is something about the look and feel of SwiftKey that has kept me as a premium user, but I might just have to go back to Google’s keyboard.

Well, I’m a little late to share my stories, but after reading through everyone else’s it’s nice to get some perspective about the challenges others have faced.

Built-in VPN appears to be “coming soon” in this app. Can you recommend any alternatives?

I got it to install, but upon launching the app it’s stuck on the initial screen. I made sure to launch it in airplane mode as the instructed, but after rebooting and turning airplane mode back off, it’s still stuck.

I never said Fringe ripped off anything. My comment was to your remark about Scully being a rip off of Starling. Other than your pictures showing similar haircuts, there is nothing to support such a claim. That just seems like a silly and over-generalizing thing to say.
