For reasons I do not understand, neither SwiftKey nor Swype allow text expansion. There is something about the look and feel of SwiftKey that has kept me as a premium user, but I might just have to go back to Google’s keyboard.

Well, I’m a little late to share my stories, but after reading through everyone else’s it’s nice to get some perspective about the challenges others have faced.
Built-in VPN appears to be “coming soon” in this app. Can you recommend any alternatives?
I got it to install, but upon launching the app it’s stuck on the initial screen. I made sure to launch it in airplane mode as the instructed, but after rebooting and turning airplane mode back off, it’s still stuck.
I wonder why you can't save individual "Do" buttons to the home screen.
I wonder if Drafts will be adding a similar widget function.
I like the idea of Pushbullet (I'm sorry I actually said that), but I don't know what I would use it for. What are some examples of things users can do with Pushbulet?
The part about meal interviews reminded me of a place I interviewed at a little over a year ago. I originally applied for a sales position. Although I was looking for more of a supervisor level position, this particular employer had no such positions available, and I was motivated to find a job. I arrived for my…
Does SwiftKey allow for text expansion? I can't find it in the settings.
Yeah.. I just drew it with the tail to my right because I am right handed and it was easier to bring my finger back to my right side than to draw the tail further away to my left.
This is, um, the dumbest Lifehacker article I have ever read.
FYI - Apparently Best Buy does not allow the use of gift cards for Marketplace orders. Bummer. #corrections
I've been using this since I received the invite after reading this post, up until yesterday. I can say they quickly fixed most of the concerns/issues that I initially had with this app. Ultimately, I realized that I just prefer my own home screen layout, as I mainly use the same apps no matter where I am or what…
That explains why I've still been getting auto-playing video while on a mobile connection. Somehow that makes this better AND worse.
Very cool. Is there anything comparable for Windows?
That's the downside of these (although they're great freemium services). I've used Boomerang, Tout, and I'll probably give this a try. However, if you have not received confirmation of a read email, it doesn't necessarily mean it hasn't been read yet. More likely, it means the recipient has disabled automatic…
I've been using it for almost a week, and although I like it, I'm not finding much of a convenience factor so far. Right now, the biggest nuisance is the inconsistency of which home screen layout the app decides is appropriate for the user's activity.
What would you recommend for iPad that supports offline reading? I'm traveling for work a lot now, and Reeder no longer works. I'm thinking about using IFTTT to sync feeds to Pocket.
"post to facebook" just goes to a web search for me. Is there a setting to connect to Facebook?
Interesting write up. I finally got around to watching this movie, and of course had your articles bookmarked to read afterwards. Here are my thoughts on the movie: http://10thingsihateabout.tumblr.com/post/484995721…
