I just wanted to acknowledge Charlie Jane Anders and io9 for the great Fringe write ups. For me, I was equally as excited to read about the previous episode as I was to watch it. Hopefully we'll have something else to engage in discussion about (The Following perhaps?)

Not to sound like the cocky physics scholar above, but I too thought this was a silly thing to ponder. And even more silly to answer with physics, when it can and should be answered with more simple and obvious terms. The reason an image seems "flipped" is the same reason if I were to press the palm of my *right* hand

I initially interpreted the title of this article as we, the viewers, are laughing at the show's attempt at superior intellect, because the characters frequently mention a pseudo-advanced scientific idea, and then follow up with a dumbed down version so we will "get it". A room full of geniuses shouldn't have to be so

They never had hair. They're evolved humans, and there are many hypotheses (I think some even recently mentioned here) that we will eventually lose our hair as we have many other methods of keeping warm.

I haven't noticed a change on my battery life, but I've found it to be horrible ineffective at understanding swipe patterns. Whatever time I saved through SwiftKey's next word prediction (which is great) I lose with having to delete the wrong word input by swipe, and tap-type the correct one.

What's the difference bt this and Juice Defender?

Exactly! Or delete the post altogether afterward?

Marketing ploy for The Leftorium

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not really liking Metrotwit. Seems very complicated to navigate around.

Thanks for the tip. I did look into those settings previously, but what do you suggest should be checked in order for messages to work?

The biggest nuisance I'm experiencing right now is with the Messages app. I've connected it with my Facebook account so I can communicate via Facebook Messenger. But apparently now my friends have to adjust Facebook settings which gives permission to share messages with an app (Windows Messages) as opposed to me

It's just not fair!
