The problem is, the bollards WERE designed to break in case of contact, for the first 31 years (from 1980 when this width restriction was introduced until 2011), but the result was that the dangerous drivers just drove straight over the pavement and the council had to constantly replace the bollards that weren’t

I know it’s kind of a cliche at this point, I know I’m sort of sick of it as the go-to for ambitious engine swaps, but...

For some reason, DOHC was a thing for these engines.  The Meteor and the Ford GAA had DOHCs and 4 valves per cylinder.   I’m like you, I don’t see why you have to have the breathing of DOHC 4 valves per cylinder on an engine with a torque peak around 2k rpm.

what you’re supposed to do is buy the car and then if that one thing happens, shrug your shoulders instead of being surprised. live your life.

I voted NP since I enjoy the “Here’s everything that’s fucked up on the used time-bomb I just bought” posts. Now get over there and make that bitch yours, Rob!!!

None. They can kiss my ass.

But then how would you know how many gallons of electrons its using? /s MPGe is an abomination.

You’re probably going to get annoyed with one. Two of my friends owned Hellcats, one a Charger and the other a Challenger with the six-speed manual. The guy with the Challenger never got better than 12 mpg even when he wasn’t driving like a Fast and Furious stunt double and the Charger guy wasn’t much better. A couple

C/D observed 13. They’re generally fairly spirited drivers, but it’s a supercharger, so it’s not like you can granny it to stay out of the boost like with a turbo.

If a 226 horsepower Katana doesn’t qualify as a vorpal sword, what does?

I think you meant naturally aspirated 13.6 L V16 (829 cu in), 1000 hp, and 1000 lb-ft.

You don’t even have to drink and squint to see I look like Rutger Hauer.

Which one?

I guess. Still, if I had rich people money, no way in hell I’d even look at this when the V4 Superlegera is just better in every metric.

You don’t want any deviation to the powerband when you are on the side of the tire.

Yeah, for a drag bike turbos are fine, I also can’t stand them for anything other than straight lines though.

Buick 3800 V6. The unmistakable sound of GM for most of my growing up years. Also, how can we not love an engine that made the GNX? That turbo’d 3.8 is a legend.

Queue all the armchair engineers on why Toyota has no idea what they’re doing since BEVs are the future as their messiah Elon Musk has told them.

Pure osmium will slowly oxidise in ambient conditions to osmium tetroxide (which is what gives the metal that blue-grey hue). The oxide is nasty stuff though.

Don’t do it. You’ll miss the live rear axle.
