Here is a short description of Yamahas YDIS system:

I have laughed heartily for over two minutes now, and developed a cough.

The cart put 5 hp on only one wheel? It ain’t much power but a cart is light, so it must have made for some capricious handling.

When batteries are so small that they can easily be moved around by hand, swapping makes sense.

When the cost of filling up a tank is very low, efficiency takes a back seat to range. You may as well stash all the batteries you need in there, weight be damned.

I do think that the SRX uses the same carburetor setup as the XT600 I had, because the engine is the same. And the photos on Google supports my assumption.

Kicking a bike is one of those things that make you feel capable and sexy. I miss it.

You all are wrong. I guess it is due to excessive exposure that you diss it and figure that the grass is greener on the other side, but the best sound is the wet flopping of a low-compression pushrod V8 and you know it.

I want my digital crap in my handheld device and for my car to roll. That is its purpose.

Broken editor is broken.

This winter my car would not start. The starter motor happily swung the crank around, but no VROOM. After a dozen tries, it started to get tired so I clipped on my wossname this thing, which gave it some pep back for another couple of failed attempts.

I suffer from cognitive dissonance, because I viscerally agree with you by principle.

I don’t think that most accidents occur because the driver went too fast. Of course there are those that slide off the road, but I think those are a minority.

Touchscreens are bad.

You are perfectly correct in both statements.

Two things:

I grew up on a diet of dirt and sports bikes and rode daily for two decades, and after testing a 1500cc Goldwing I was absolutely appalled.

Ran to the comments to mention Torque, and there it is at the top of the list.
