Various confused bullcrap about torque.

And yet a pushrod GM V8 weighs equal or less than say a BMW turbo I6.

I had one where the tranny started to act up after like 150k miles. Shop guy said it was worn out. I changed oil myself, and lo - it worked perfectly for another 100k miles until the car was terminated for other reasons.

Oil needs to

“Everywhere” is not the term I would use. You mainly find them on roads that ought to have been wider and better, where people would be wise to keep a slow pace because of bad sight and elks. But cameras was cheaper than adding a lane and putting up wildlife fences.

As someone who works in hydrogenizing power distribution, I quite agree that hydrogen is probably not that great for cars. In the sub-100 kWh area, batteries are the rational choice. You can accept 500 kgs of extra weight, some loss in range, and an hour of charging here and there.

I find the problems with dashcams is that they do not film sideways? I think?

As a comparison, here in Sweden the traffic is quite lawless. I see a cop car once per month, and it usually is going someplace in a hurry.

How much of global CO2 emissions do supercars stand for, annually? 0.00000000000001%?

We keep running our luxury toys on poison, because it costs money to go clean.

YUROP REPRAZENT

Aight, fair enough.

I have a 90's Buick that I adored when it ran, and now it’s in a barn awaiting restoration. It is not a remarkable car, but it is very special to me because it was my first car and I have 10 years of great memories in it. You can’t replace it with another car, no matter how objectively better it is. One day I will

What would you think if someone kidnapped your mom and replaced her with another woman, who was objectively better in every regard?

Good

I’m probably repeating what everyone else says here, but

I am pleasantly surprised that manufacturers still release these type of cars.

Second the 3800. The one in my Park Avenue needed one cam sensor and a belt in 250k miles (when general electronic failures made the rest of the car unreliable). I also swapped sparkplugs once, just in case.

I like how the headlight switch in my Buick was positioned in the door.

There is a Touran and a Touareg.
