Not trying to one-up our awesome Finnish neighbors, but in Sweden winter tires are mandatory from Dec 1 to Mar 31.
Last time I went down Autobahn many years ago, I was doing 100 mph *) - and my main memory is of being overtaken by an endless stream of TDI-badged vans. Chains of VW Buses doing +200 km/h. A few baryton-voiced AMG wagons mixed in.
I am astonished and blown away by what Koenigsegg is accomplishing in such a rapid pace, considering how small the company is.
I love lifted pony cars. As long as they do not bloat the body to make it SUVish like the E-Mustang.
“Sports Utility Vehicle” - the only correct term there is “vehicle”, as they are invariably neither sporty nor of augmented utility.
I concede that the only I3 I have experience from was a small budget car. It was terrible in every regard and left me with a taste of bile.
Look at that ICE torque curve. Almost flat between 1500-8500 rpm. That is magnificent.
Impressive. The Rocket used to be fat, clumsy and tasteless. Now it is more of an orca. Still huge, but in an athletic and pretty sort of way.
Sorry if those aren’t steel.
Yes please.
I think the problem is that M, AMG and such sub-brands are supposed to be sporty. In that concept are a) powerful engine and b) great handling.
I see I was technically wrong there. The U-turn mishap was with a RWD car, so only the rear wheels were spinning. :)
I used to agree with you until one winter day (Sweden) some years ago when I took a carful of colleagues to lunch. When we got into the car to drive back one asked “do you have studs on this” and I went “Nah, I don’t see any reason. Winter friction tires have always worked well for me.” *)
HURRRRRLEHURRRRR
I agree. The thing I like with V8 engines is high gear, full load accelerations. When you muscle forth on a tsunami of torque.

The Livewire is pretentious, this thing is the opposite. That may be why folks love this and not the HD.
