I do know what would’ve happened to the white students.  I went to school with a bunch of them.

It’s a harsh lesson to pass on to a 12-year-old child—that no matter his merits, no matter his circumstances, no matter the truth of his situation, no matter the support of his parents, an institution entrusted with his care and development would rather punish him than hear him out.

Also as a side note a school’s handbook doesn’t over ride the law as easy as common sense. I see a court fight coming and say the law is on the kids side.
