What’s extra hilarious is that a lot of them are, at least in part, voting for Bernie because he is not a woman. But try to call one of them out on it, and YIKES.

My experience as well - since they are mostly people I know, or friends of people I know (so their Bernie support/lefty cred seems understood/verified).

Every conversation with a Bernie supporter goes as follows:

My ex-fiance who’s college apartment had Bill Clinton’s picture framed in the living room and once said he would want Bill to officiate our wedding and was also an Obama supporter, gave me a look of shock and disgust when I told him I was supporting Hillary. It was a great reminder of why it didn’t work out between us.

I finally put a filter on my FB feed that keeps any post tagged with #feelthebern off of my newsfeed, because at one point it was literally nothing but Bernie memes. It was liberating.

The thing that gets me are these comments:

“I won’t vote for a Clinton or a Bush.”
“Watching Hillary’s speech. God save me from her.”
“Hillary Clinton is a war-monger!”

I’m thinking about just suspending the entire Internet until this is all over.

Can definitely relate: I just un-follow folks and cling to the hope that somehow FB will calm down a little after the election. FB is dismal these days . . .
