Agreed. Silicon Valley seems less like a mocumentary and more like a fictionalized documentary every day.

Yeah, I’d be more inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt if the show didn’t have a fucking plotline where a woman’s code is revealed to be written by a man. I’ve only watched snippets of this show, and each time it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Like Family Guy, when your “satire” ends up celebrating the bad…
I buy this, though. I don’t have a problem with the lack of diversity on this show, because I feel like its entire role is lampooning the absurdity of silicon valley culture. It’s supposed to be an exaggerated version of start-up/venture politics, not an idealized version of it. They even have a whole episode about…
my boss just walked in (he comes and goes as he pleases, time has no meaning) and I just hope he keeps to himself hahaha. hes probably the only one in the office who isn’t really affected by DST
god i know! My phone was blowing up from the second i got into work (20 minutes late)
Slightly off-topic but I want to start a letter writing campaign to end Daylight savings time. This morning wrangling the kids was hell.
Gawd me too. If one more person says, “boy that alarm went off early this morning!” I’m going all Trump rally on them.
if it weren’t for the fact that Ben is totally that guy who would smoke the wrong end of the joint, I would think that he’s high 200% of the time.
but acknowledged that some people attending his rallies were “angry.”
Are those statements enough? If Simmons is being abused, does a couple of phone calls clear it up? I realize there’s not much anyone can do, but “it’s almost like we’re a married couple” is still kind of weird.
Yeah. Keep it private. Because that's exactly how we fix rape culture. It's worked so well this far after all.
Isn’t making much of a statement if it’s kept private, though.
“Use whatever tools you have to help cope with assault, by all means, so long as I approve of those tools first and those tools don’t in any way attempt to de-stigmatize rape through open, public discourse.”
I’m glad she made sure to point out that the models had safe words and gestures.
Yep, that’s how most of Howard Hughes’ fortune was pissed away. His entourage even tricked him into selling off Hughes Tool in order to sustain their lifestyle. Sadly, some of his remaining friends kind of knew what was going on, they were just powerless to stop any of it.
Is it possible for police to make a welfare check on him? I know involving police isn’t always the best idea but it doesn’t seem like anyone else in his inner circle is really doing anything for him. I also don’t know anything about social work so I could be totally off base here.
“This is not that song so move along”
I like to think he waited patiently for that tweet. He knew it was coming and he sat there waiting for it. It was glorious.
That was my favorite part, because you just KNOW if they wanted to dig up receipts, John probably had a higher GPA as well.
I feel like this buries the best part of the beef, where a Drumpf supporter called John Legend uneducated (because of course) and he responded, “actually the Donald and I graduated from the same university”. Daaaaaamn. You couldn’t plan for a more perfect burn.
