As a certified Mac technician, this does concern me a little. I doubt many of these machines will come by my desk but they sound like a pain in the arse. The Airs aren't a ton of fun to work on either though.

I think the point is that wireless speeds will get faster over time and the infrastructure will become cheaper/easier to maintain. Compare the speed/cost of wireless data to just 10 years ago. I remember not too long ago when I had to pay per kilobyte.

I'm starting to get onboard with G+ only because of their photos area. My photos look like garbage on Facebook (even if I check the high-res option). With a Picasa client that can manage my photos and sync them automagically it could become my social network of choice. Now, if only my friends would use it ...
