The House Ways and Means Committee have already filed a lawsuit demanding that their Subpoena for Trump’s tax returns be honored.  And the law is on their side.  There is actually a statute that says the Treasury Dept. has to supply any tax returns that they request.

Literally has nothing to do with the JD. This isn't a criminal statute. States are allowed to set out who can be on their ballots. It doesn't stop Trump from running so it's not even a constitutional question.
