If you ever try to dig for clams with your bare hands (which I have done), you can actually feel them pull away from you and try to escape deeper into the sand. It’s kinda amazing since you usually don’t think of clams as particularly mobile.

Juice IS sugar water - with some nutritional value if “real” juice. It has some benefit over sodas and other highly-caloric and minimally-nutritional drinks.

Juice is not bad. Outside of rare cases (trans fats) no foods are inherently bad. Juice is a perfectly fine addition to normal healthy diet.
