I do hope that Rancid will be included in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the future. That's probably wishfull thinking. Bands like Blink 182, Good Charlotte and Sum 41 are more likely to end up there. Woe is me and all the people that enjoy real punk-rock. Calling those three punk is an insult to Ramones, Clash, Dead

I adore Carl Barks as much as everybody else, but my favourite is Don Rosa. His drawings are just amazing and so humours with all the details. Searching for the D.U.C.K is one thing that I enjoy and without feeling ashamed of it.

I hope that Axl praise himself at the ceremony, as the selfish and meglomaniac son of bitch that he is, with no regards to the original members. Also that he goes into a rant how genius Chinese Demoracy is, and how he unironically thanks Mao for the inspiration to it.

Can't we all be friends? Just kidding. Tough, it seems popular to use words like "hugs", "kisses", "take care" on the internet these days, and of course nobody really means it. I just want to vomit all over this trend; Facebook seems to be one of the sources to this nauseating behaviour. There's a counterpart in real

Excellent choices, sarCCastro. My list:

Spotify is great. It's also a great source to find new music to download. Let's just say elsewhere…

It seems that Spotify is catching on in the U.S. If you're a Canadian I feel sorry for you.

I'm a proud user of the semicolon; the subordinate clause is for amateurs.

I'm also a "broke bastard", but I prefer to call myself an student that is in a precariuos situation money-wise. I'm definitely gonna give this list a try. Most of the songs I've never listened to before.

The only reason that I've heard of Dawes is because of the A.V. Club. I've never listened to them, so am I missing out on something? I get the feeling that they're another indie band that are boring like for example Bon Iver. I like some of his stuff, but most of his songs are kinda annoying.

How are you holding up, Steven, considering that Dawes didn't even make the list? Well, you know what the say, "time will heal all wounds". Personally I think that saying is bullshit. But hang in there, buddy.

Don't even joke about that.

I can really recommend Isobel & November, another Swedish band. Their album "Ghostwater Gospel" is great. I doubt they're known outside Europe and maybe not even outside the Nordic countries. This year they released "Hymns For The Myriad Spirits". I haven't listen to it yet though. They can't be catergorized as a

So? I don't care. Hip-Hop: I just don't get it.

That it is. The only redeeming thing about this list is that Fucked Up's album made it. Unsurprisingly, but it should have been number one. I think its so called competions stand no chance whatsoever to this master piece. What a fucking good album; I listen to it pretty much all the time. The rest of the list: yawn…

I did cry too. If you didn't tear up a bit at least, then you're an empty shell of a human being.

Well, when it comes to black metal they're probably right about that.

Yes, I totally agree. I hardly ever watch American shows on my TV. I'm not gonna wait months to be able to watch for example Breaking Bad, Community, Sons of Anarchy.

The Peace Prize-ceremony takes place in Oslo, but that's about it.

Metallica = greedy bastards.
