The Five-Year Engagement is SO long. So, so long. A romantic comedy should run 90 minutes, 1:45 tops if there are lots of threads to pull together. 2 hours 10 minutes is way too long and you feel every second of it.

JDR a 3? Life must be sweet on your home planet.

Tenacious D on WTF was great. It's interesting to see that there really is some tension about JB's acting success and KG's (relative) obscurity, especially knowing that Kyle was the guy who wanted to be a serious actor. It actually got a little uncomfortable when they were talking about how all of Kyle's other

Sure, but my point is, how/why is it illegal for him to be paying these people? Yes, it's highly suspicious but other than violating tax codes what exactly is the problem here? Arresting him on suspicion of… what exactly?

Is it illegal for a lawyer to distribute relatively small sums of money to people via safety deposit boxes? Clearly it's suspicious given that the recipients are his client's families and it's happening in such a clandestine manner, but is it actually illegal? Is it legal for the police to waltz into a bank and arrest

Yeah, people were so unfairly critical about Let's Go To Prison. It's not like prison rape jokes are lazy at all, especially when they make up about half the 'comedy' in that movie.

As much as I'm loving this season dramatically, there's been a few too many convenient plot handwaves. MagnetCar, The Great Train Robbery and now Houdini White. It's starting to feel like an action movie where ridiculous plans work just because the script says so.

You may know limp biscuit is another name for 'soggy biscuit' - the game where guys stand around a biscuit and jerk off on it. The last one to ejaculate onto the snack has to eat it. Well, I've known about this game since I was a child but I don't believe anyone has ever actually played it. It's a myth, you guys.

Still prefer Father Ted in the religion-based sitcom genre, but Rev is good. It has more heart but less funny.

Louie looks like a completely different person. It's scary.

How does the violence in Killer Joe compare to, say, Irreversible? I kinda sorta wanna see the film but I never want to go to that extreme again. Call me a prissy baby, but the tunnel scene is my limit for sickening violence outside dumb horror films.
