Yeah, it's not like the island forcing Walt to mature faster would have been the craziest thing on Lost, or even that eye-rollingly stupid compared to some of the crap they tried.

Yes, The Long Goodbye is bad. I think it could have been decent, but they rushed a 'Very Special' arc into one episode, and all the performances are way over the top. Then it's shelved and isn't spoken of again until mid-way through the 5th season. 

No, she liked it. I don't really understand what she was trying to say about enjoying it in 'another realm' though.

The West Wing's 'very special' 9/11 episode, anyone?

Something is spilled on a dress and/or shoes. As this is a harmless tween film it will be soda or mustard rather than white wee-wee.

Many epsisodes of TWW fall into the 'good, but forgettable' category. The early seasons in partcular are always consistent but aside from the obvious two-parters they often blur into each other.

Brit drama
British drama is almost always 1) Cheap and tacky, unable to attract top talent or 2) terribly overwritten and dull.
