This, it can be so random. I had a massive stroke when I was a healthy athletic 20 year old over a super strange extra bone that was compressing an artery. I still have effects from it, but even I consider myself lucky to be alive and that I didn’t have worse damage considering the magnitude.

He was before my time at Iowa, but from what I understand, he was good at both football and school. I don’t doubt his book smartness, but I do doubt he has done much for consumers that actually helps them.

Welllll...It’s not as good as Stanford or Yale, but it in the top 50 in the country and miles better than most state’s main schools.

Whitaker sucks, but the University of Iowa has a pretty decent law school.

Yes to this! I recently gave Levis some feedback that I’d prefer they sell actual denim when I was trying to replace my trusted black skinny jeans that only had 1% elastane. Everything on their website is made with so much non-cotton material and it is infuriating! Abercrombie and Fitch used to make real jeans, but…

My hometown has had all of the metro high school yearbooks catalogued online for years by the library. It’s kind of cool to see yearbooks from the 20's. Also cool because my high school had a few famous graduates and you see their dorky/adorable photos.

As a former Iowan, I fully echo this sentiment, aside from those I know who have been working round the clock fighting tooth and nail against it. but pretty much fuck this state, I am glad I moved.

That actor is in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri and the whole time my husband and I were watching it-at home- I kept saying that. I don’t know who the actor is, he’ll always be ‘fucking Warren’ to me.
