Basically, yes. Every once in the while an athlete in the outer lanes will win, but the fastest competitors are generally in the middle. and even though those on the outer lanes may not win the race, they can sure try to improve their personal bests so that someday they may be in the middle lanes.

I met his father-in-law once. He used to be a business associate of my dads. He was nice and said he would get me a signed copy of the Notebook (I didn't ask for one) but I guess as a 21 year old, he figured I'd want one. I never got it.

This was my Halloween costume last year as I was 31 weeks pregnant! I hand crafted mine with a doll from Goodwill, a miter saw(we totally sawed that doll's head in half so I could put it on the shirt), and some glue.
