I drive an e90 328i xDrive as my second car. It gets horrible fuel economy in the city (it’s a performance engine, afterall), but highway fuel economy is decent like you said. Water pump is electric instead of belt-driven, so it can crap out at any time, which leaves you stranded and in need of a tow. 17” wheels…

If you haven’t raised a moron, then yes. I wanted to get one for my daughter but she doesn’t like the styling.

I also have to agree with everyone else that $25k is a large budget for a first car. Not that it is not a worthwhile investment, but because I can’t imagine being 16 and having $25k in the bank already or being in a position to take out a loan.

If a car in front of you does a panic stop, why the hell would somebody’s reaction to be to go around them?

Watching the video, it almost seems like the rig figured out what was going on at some point and slowed down. The work truck then matched the speed of the rig, which makes him a bit more guilty. Both Camaro and work truck drivers were being asshats, of course.

Personally, when I encounter a crazy person on the highway that’s tailgating and driving aggressively I just get the fuck out of their way. I’ve seen too many of these stories that end up with people wrecked or shot.
