I found the way they did Flash’s powers in this incredibly uninteresting. Maybe it doesn’t help that the best version of those powers has already been that and that’s Quicksilver in the X-men films. I even like the way the show does it better. You think a big budget movie could find a way to film something like super

Sufjan all day every day. And I don’t just mean his Christmas albums.

There’s some that exist. Sturgill, Price, Isbell (although I get confused if he counts as country) are pretty vocal and clearly give no shits about losing a section of their fanbase for being so but mainstream country can’t be bothered with them it seems.

They’ll find some way to defend him either way. I avoided posts about him specifically for that reason. It’s amazing to me how willing people are to go to bat for celebrities they don’t even know and have never met. Especially male celebrities.

Can’t wait to read all the comments about how “shocked” people are re: this even though rumours and talk have been around for years. Will be interesting to see who in the comedy world comes to his defence.

I admit having to call Eleven ‘Jane’ from now on is going to be tough but reminding myself that that’s a number assigned to her by people who saw her as nothing but a means to an end and Jane is the name her mother gave her helped a lot. Plus, I foresee everyone in her immediate circle still calling her El just out of

Yes, the episode has its issues but I admit when Eleven has having flashbacks to all the good memories she has with the boys and Hopper and Joyce, I cried a little. I just want her to be happy. One thing I dislike re: the reaction to this episode is some people’s immediate conclusion that one bad episode somehow

That Hopper/Eleven fight was genuinely intense and imo, one of the best acted moments in the entire show. And as usual, my heart hurts for poor El. She deserves the world. Just let her be happy show. The same goes for poor Will.

Hopper’s goofy little dance and El’s little smile. I’m a sucker for found family narratives and these two are killing me.

God, I know Hopper means well but dealing with Eleven the way he’s doing is the worst thing he could’ve done. This is someone who was basically locked up in a facility for her entire life and his solution to this problem was to... keep her locked up in a cabin all by herself? Too bad he could’t confide in Joyce about

I just finished Episode 2 but gosh Millie Bobby Brown remains completely heartbreaking. Idk why I was slightly worried if maybe they just got lucky with the kids in the first season but nope. They remain wonderful, her especially. And I loved the reveal of a certain relationship at the end of Episode 1 so much. Their

All they had to do was have a couple scenes where Arya and Sansa “argue” in public or at least in the vicinity of where Littlefinger was listening, have a couple scenes where the Starks discuss their plans or whatever, etc. But instead they felt the need to have Arya act OOC and have this nonsense Arya vs. Sansa

This summer blockbuster season just made me really wish I could just watch Mad Max: Fury Road for the first time tbh. I remember going into it last year, having no real clue what it was actually about and then being blown away and then proceeding to see it at least 7 more times (it helps that I work at a movie theater
