Do you participate in BDSM? BDSM/kinky acts are not always inherently sexual. The psychological sensations can be a lot more important than the physical, and the psychological aspects are not always necessarily sexualized.

As someone who’s worn a collar, though not in public...keep your concern to yourself. She’s clearly happy and consenting.

The show is set in the medieval times of an imaginary land. Evil things happen in those times.

Of course she’s no longer naive to expect a happy marriage. She’s no longer naive to believe she’ll have a happy life and that was most likely after Margery’s plan to have her marry her brother fell through and Tyrion was swapped in. Her innocence was killed thoroughly when her dad was beheaded. Everything else after

You KNEW shit was fucked with he said to Margaery “There was no way to get to the High Sparrow without using violence” and Margaery looked at him like: “Oh fuck. Where’s my hooker-killing ex husband when I need him”

I don’t even think the upset about the rape scene has to do with people being somehow naive about what obviously would happen during the wedding night with a known torturer - it is my understanding that people are upset because: 1.) Sansa’s character is now combined with a totally different character from the book,

Outside of the Sansa nightmare can we talk about how REALLY BAD the sand snake “fight” was?? I know nothing compares to what your imagination can create but yeeeugh it felt sad and embarrassing. The Sand Snakes are something I loved so much about the book and this idea of a motley crew of badass sisters was so

I thought that rape scene was gross and completely unnecessary and I’ve been arguing about it all day on FB and the other Jez article about last night’s episode.

Question: why didn’t Loras just raise an eyebrow and say, “of course he’s seen my birthmark. He’s my squire. He helps me suit up, you morons”?

When that Ramsey bastard is dead, I want there to be a Knife Drop, it’s like a Mic Drop but it’s with the knife covered with the interior of that sleezy motherf*cking sadist.

And I don’t understand why people continue to use this as a smoke screen, as though Ramsay and Sansa’s marriage was 1) inevitable within this particular plot and 2) the only way we could have possibly taken Sansa’s plot. I’m not mad that Ramsay acted like himself once he married Sansa. I’m angry that in all the

I think a lot of the problem comes from the fact that the show runners have consistently changed the books to add more rape than they had already. In the books, it’s not Sansa that marries Ramsay, but someone else pretending to be Sansa. They choose to cut that character out entirely, but keep the rape.

they’ve definitely been hinting at a redemption arc so i don’t think its out of the realm of possibility

Yo.

This was pretty much my thought on the whole thing- Ramsay is a monster, doing as monsters do.

boy oh boy have i been waiting for this all day

It also had an interesting anti-organized religion angle— when a person is worshipped (or seen as a conduit to the worshipped), there’s nothing preventing that person from subjecting believers to indignity and pain in the name of something invented.

Tom Hardy doesn’t make soulful eye contact with the camera as he takes a long, lusty, and most importantly MAN ONLY shower
