Looks like someone tried to make the Galaxy Quest TV show.

Galaxy Quest it ain’t.

Maybe it’s just me, but none of the jokes landed. 100 Ways to Die in Space? I get that MacFarlane is a big Trek fan and has done well with some of Family Guy and some of Ted, but I’m really not sure about this one.

I would love to have what appears to be Galaxy Quest: The Series on tv. Sadly, this doesn’t look good to me. (Actually, it *looks* good. But it doesn’t *sound* funny.)

It’s an interesting mashup BUT... The original soundtrack was amazing and captures the emotions better. I like the Daft Punk Tron Soundtrack but it doesn’t have the layers that the original soundtrack had. Also shortening scenes like showing off the re-modeled Enterprise is not good. The ship was very important to the

TRON!!!!!

Yeah... Nope. Sorry, this does nothing for me. The original music set a tone that matched the visuals quite well. This just feels jarring to me, overall. If you love it though, more power to you. I’m not trying to denigrate your enjoyment of it. It just isn’t for me.

No. Jerry Goldsmith’s score is frakking amazing. And this...with the exception of like 30 seconds of the V’Ger scene, doesn’t fit at all...

I don’t particularly like this movie but it was definitely an interesting experiment in genre filmmaking with some intriguing ideas. One fault it didn’t have was its music, which was great, so I am not sure adding Daft Punk will add anything.

Everyone knows humans aren’t even going to survive the next few decades.

I’m noticing a distinct lack of Mater in these previews, not to mention a return to the G rating. Leads me to believe that they really are trying with this one, instead of just crapping something out like they did with Cars 2.

Yeah. This sounds fun, but people need to be able to opt out.

I’m onboard (no pun intended). I’ve hated United for years for way less, so I have no problem continuing to not give them my money.

What a reversal for Sonequa Martin-Green to go from the most pessimistic show on TV to a franchise whose foundation was forecasting an optimistic future for humanity.

It’s fine, but need a little bit more TLC.

...Spock was originally going to impregnate Saavik (the Vulcan played by Kirstie Alley in The Wrath of Khan) although the plot was dropped.

I would’ve preferred Black Widow being Marvel’s James Bond Movie.

Have you not seen Arrival!?

Truth be told, I never saw it, but wasn’t one of the biggest, most well-received alien movies of last year, Arrival, literally about aliens and humans working together?
