@MrGOH: They're an info delivery service. The ads help them pay for the resources to get you that info. And with the small amount of ads in game magazines these days, it's hard to call them advertising delivery services.

@Strider-No.9: GamePro is not finally good. It sucks since the redesign. The best section is their calendar. That is sad for a gaming magazine. I'm tempted to let me subscription end at the end of the year since I just don't get anything from the magazine anymore. It's very disappointing.

@Andy Spokes Kohnen: Same here. I live in Canada, so I didn't have the option of a cheap subscription through the store since they don't offer that here. I paid full price for my subscription, and I am very happy with it.

@AngryChiefsFan: Gaming magazines are fun. I subscribe to four of them. Granted, they were better in the '90s, but they still beat being stuck in front of a screen.

@Xcite79: GamePro is getting better? I beg to differ. I find it's getting worse. since the redesign, the only thing I really enjoy reading is their calendar. They screwed up the letters section by not printing any replies. Of the 4 magazines I subscribe to, GamePro is the worst. I know someone who has subscribed to

@Xcite79: He thinks the web can provide everything a magazine can. He's under the assumption that gaming "news" is actually important and needs to be known right away.

@TomWar: How can you guys miss something you never had?

@puffa469: No, he said "hardcore" gamers. We all know what they are like. It's not a joke; it's the truth.

@gaiking: It means you guys are socially inept and can't get laid!

@TheCbass: Wow. Using a dollar sign instead of an S. That is so original. I bet you feel good about yourself.

@Boogalooshrimp: McDonald's Toys are only thown away now because they suck. Gone are the days of the cool Happy Meal Toys, like those McDonaldland Pull back racers. Those things were THE best toy they ever offered.

@destructorv2: What would I care, being in my own home? And I don't see the big deal with wearing the glasses - apart from having to wear the glasses - when there are a ton of you nerds who will wear headsets while playing games. Because THAT'S not dorky at all...

@MeateaW: 3D games didn't come and go 15 years ago. VR displays came and went; not the same with what is happening today.

@unknownsock: A great game is a great game regardless of nostalgia. The game would be just as good had there been no previous Mario game.

Lie the ads we have today are so great? You'll be saying how lame they were in twenty years.

@destructorv2: It works for me. I don't know what you're doing wrong.

@JohnnyricoMC: They keep releasing 15 FPS games for the PS3 and 360 every month. So no, it didn't blow over yet.
