What even more amazing is that I think this has better production quality than any F1 race I’ve seen lately.

There’s more overtaking in the first turn than the entire 2019 F1 season.

Drivers Ed?

I have an even better idea: Have competency tests starting at 60, every two years. It’s not popular to talk about aging, but there’s a great book called “Being Mortal” by Atul Gawande that discusses aging in real terms.

Most ‘Murica truck ever?  Not riding on those cheese-eating Michelins, it’s not...

So Russia cheats, and likely hasn’t honored it for years, and we respond with a missile test, and you say we are all worse off for it because we show our strength?

Sure, makes sense. Putin will definitely respond with fear when we send him a strongly worded letter indicating he needs to stop cheating.

The only reason

While it’s true they need to make engineering changes, the more important changes are at the management level, who rubber-stamped this in the first place. The culture at Boeing needs to change.

That’s why, most of the time, homologation is only done for cars that sell in the thousands of units

There are people there watching this.  Why isn’t this a spectator thing.  I live right near the IIHS, I have dreamed for years of going there and watching them throw Volvos into walls.  We could finance so much more crash testing by simply making them spectator events, imagine how safe cars would be.

I couldn’t agree more. My worst bike wreck was caused by a “nice” driver who decided to stop and let a car into traffic, which drove past her and into me in the next lane over.

My ‘99 Cobra convertible has nearly 160k miles and is still beautiful! I’m the second owner and have had it for nearly 19 years.

I blame coffee. Coffee and the enlistment bonus.

As if my gas-gulping Charger is “necessary”, but a ‘69 Charger Daytona is truly unnecessary:

The Viper.

But why do I need to look at Donald Duck on the hood when I’m driving it?
