Show me your pets! The pet thread was wonderful last week, so I thought I would do it again.

I’m hoping the synagogue has cameras set up somewhere. I’d love to see these fuckers start weeping when they’re caught and do their “this is not who I am” dance.

Two days ago in Irvine, California another synagogue was tagged with graffiti. The synagogue already has armed guards present during services, and will be getting more security cameras, higher gates, and barriers to block vehicles. It’s so sad that these things are necessary. 

I’ve got Tuesday in the pool for how long until we find out this kid tweeted something offensive in high school.

I will take this opportunity to share the delightful Caitlin Doughty of Ask a Mortician. 

Sometimes when I finish reading one of these stories, especially the ones that involve everyday people and not the supernatural, I realize I’ve been holding my breath.  

Can we make this into a show me your pet thread? After all the shit that’s been happening, I could use some happy animal faces.

Nobody in my life has ever made me as angry as Donald Trump has. Every single time he opens his mouth after a tragedy he just spews bullshit. When I think about the things he has said, I can feel my body shake with anger. I just want to yell and scream at him in a way I have never yelled at someone before.

Wow, you got here fast. I was wondering when the Offended Ones would show up. Someone who is not visually impaired, who suddenly must become blindfolded, would definitely act in this manner. Seeing that her character is not blind, and the circumstances of the situation don’t warrant time to have orientation mobility…

I refuse to believe someone would wear these shoes everyday for an entire month.

Ah, yes. I always forget that people buying and wearing ugly Christmas sweaters is a thing. Someone buying these shoes makes more sense now.

Why would anyone spend $169 on a pair of boots you’ll probably only wear once or twice? You could easily make a knockoff version of those boots for a fraction of the price by getting a cheap pair of black boots and going to Michaels. 

I love dogs but I’m not able to have one at my place, so here is a picture of my girl Graycie.

Is it ok if I make this thread into a “show me your pup” thread? I’ve spent the morning applying to jobs, and could use some happy puppy faces. If you don’t have a dog, feel free to share your pets too.

Oh god, just reading your description made me tear up. So sweet. 

It’s infuriating how sex workers are targeted and how their portrayal in the media of how they are targeted is treated as flippant and insignificant. Even the AP tried it by changing their tweet from “women” to “prostitutes” about this event.
