Why is it that people can't be pro-choice but also cognizant of the horrors of abortion? I am one of those people, and there are more of me.

I'm a fella, and I've been catcalled, had my ass and penis groped out of nowhere, and more. Honestly, it's always been a turn-on (no joke, I love it!), and I would've gone home with each and every one of the offenders - in fact, I did end up going home one of them after a night at the bar.
That's my only complaint. Ethics are an intersectional endeavor. Social justice must exist with environmental justice (and also with economic justice)!
Seriously. I've never been a customer before, but I put my money where the ethics are. And I'll be buying their products from now on. Hey Honey Maid: You just earned a customer!
I've chosen to remain child-free for different reasons: economic and environmental justice. I'm aware of the massive tolls that a single life takes on the environment -subjected to 7 billion people on a planet designed to carry about 3-4 billion at our current consumption levels (and without thinking of increased…
Well, I do happen to teach while completing my doctoral studies - a continuation of my undergrad and masters level education in social justice and critical theory. I'd love it if you'd attend one of my lectures though (if you can take time off from all of your dance classes, of course).
I am the man now dog.
I'm sorry, what? And why?
Well, no, I didn't 'hate' her. But she was up to some pretty horrible stuff that was likely going to destroy our relationship anyway. The relationship had basically run its course, but neither of us knew how to do anything about it - we'd been dating since we were 14yo. Additionally, I'd become close (and fond of) her…
Again, with the qualifier: 'often'.
Well, in MY circles, people would wonder where in my comment you would find any claim to a 'universal norm', particularly given the qualifier 'in my circles'.
I'm aware of the show, but I've never seen an episode. I'm in my mid-twenties, and I think the show was before my time? Also, I don't really watch too much television - I certainly don't own one and don't really plan on doing so.
A wonderful life, indeed. Just look at that vision of 'wonderful living' portrayed on Ms. Taylor's face.
They are. But people call dudes who prefer politics, literature, music, and art over sports/games/etc 'hipsters' as a way to emasculate them.
Sometime in high school, I made the decision to NEVER wear clothing with visible text, logos/brands, or images. I didn't want clothing to speak for me, or for some corporation. I didn't want my opinions/views to be distilled into a single, vapid and quippy quote. And I didn't want to to dress like an advertisement.
Well, given the theme of this post (that I've loosely interpreted), it interrupted so many other relationships.
Very confused about your comment...
When I was 19, I broke up with my high school sweetheart by encouraging a threesome that included her best friend, knowing very well that she would not be able to handle her jealousy and that it would destroy the relationship.
Yeah, no. Unless the fast food job is specifically and directly relevant to the job you're applying to, you DO NOT list it. I'm assuming the person isn't going to college to then apply for another food service job.
I wish I could take away the jobs held by the sexist, racist, religious, capitalist and neoliberal lawmakers that get paid millions of dollars to fucking destroy this country and its people.
