It rarely ends like that for anyone. If this was a frat guy passed out drunk in front of the house and he was raped, I bet the comments would be very different.
LMFAO. Better?
Who said anything about lecturing or blaming my theoretical daughter? The question was, “why did you drink so much?”
Thank you for your reply, I can totally see why my POV could be considered victim blaming. I’m dancing on the edge of the blade here by trying to substitute “blame” with “personal responsibility” in a sense. It’s a very razor sharp line between the two in this case.
Does everyone here live in good neighborhoods or something? Expecting the worst in people is a survival skill. There are parts of town that people know are dangerous so most people do what they can to either be safe in those areas or make sure they have their faculties together.
LMFAO...if it was your daughter, one of the first questions you would ask her is why did you drink so much?
Actually, a guy would get robbed and pissed on most likely. Some will stick things in your ass. People are just plain horrible in general. The drawing dicks on someones face happens with friends inside the party.
I’m not saying she asked for it. I’m not saying she dressed wrong or that all woman are here for men’s pleasure. BUT, you get so drunk that you pass out in front of a frat house, your gonna have a bad time.
So she got so drunk that she passed out on the lawn and was just left by herself? Doesn’t excuse what that guy did at all. Not one bit. But for fucks sake if it wasn’t him, it was probably going to be someone else.
I’ve been forced out of a major company in the video game industry and all of this sounds par for the course. These kind of supervisors are the ultimate two-face. They know how to kiss upper management ass and defer blame to the underlings when things go wrong. Its much easier/cheaper to force out the person making…
By this logic, they should waive the background check for the abuse victims because they’ll need to use the gun ASAP. A note from a police officer should suffice...
Call me cold hearted but I don’t care anymore. I don’t feel bad for the kid, the parents or the siblings. This happens way too often and is in the news enough that if you don’t know better, well too bad.
